Bangkok 23 August 2006: Tops Supermarket and Social Security Office, The Ministry of Labour power up to help reduce the cost of living for social security beneficiaries through SPOT Rewards Card with discounts on nine different consumer products at its 90 stores nationwide.
Mrs Chiranun Poopat, Senior Vice President – Buying & Merchandising and Marketing, Central Food Retail Co., Ltd. revealed that, “The company is very glad to be a part of this government initiate programme to offering special benefits to those in need with reductions on 25 product items under 9 different categories, including rice, fish sauce, vegetable oil, eggs, instant noodles, canned fish, soap / washing powder, toothpaste and toothbrushes and UHT milk products.
For entitled members, these products are discounted between 5–20% from its current promotional price, meaning a range of big reductions on a variety of products.”
Khun Chiranun added, “Tops has selected these products for their quality and reasonable prices offering these reductions to the 9 million registered social security card holders. Apart from that, SPOT Rewards card holders are also entitled to Discounts on over 400 different products each month and they are also entitled to Tops Privilege - Activities and dailyght - complimentary gifts when shopping at Central Food Retail outlets.”
Social Security beneficiaries who shop with both their social security cards and SPOT Rewards cards can check their monthly options for their Personal Shopping List via specially installed electronic kiosks outside participating Tops Supermarkets from the 9th August 2006.
SPOT Rewards card holders can also receive privileges at 90 Central Food Retail outlets, including Tops Market, Tops Super, marketplace by Tops.
