(Bangkok: October 1, 2010) International Enterprise Singapore, The Embassy of Singapore, and Central Food Retail have joined forces to introduce "Tasty Singapore," a first time of food festival that brings Singapore's diverse food culture and heritage to Thailand with more than 200 new products on offer from today through October 26 at Central Food Hall, 7th Floor, CentralWorld.

    The event was honorably opened by H.E. Mr. Peter Chan, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore, and Mr. Suthichai Chirathivat, Chairman of Advisory Board of Central Group of Companies, together with esteemed celebrities M.L. Praowthong Thongyai and Ob-Oom Watthida Choomsai na Ayuthaya to discover the tastes of Singapore.

     'Tasty Singapore' food festival, held for the first time in Thailand, has been organized in other cities simultaneously, including Singapore, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai. In Bangkok, the event focuses on the "Emotional Experience" concept, which allows visitors to experience the lifestyle of Singapore in every aspect.

    Featuring Emotional Food Tasting, with fresh cooking from Singapore's best menus; Emotional Food Show, an enjoyable, leading entertainment show from Singapore; Dancing Chef, a mixture of art and culinary techniques by Mr. Chuan Marcus and three supporting actors to make the event even more exciting and impressive.

Emotional Cooking Show is another event led by Mr. Sunny Koh, Singapore's famous culinary guru. He will demonstrate his skillful use of the spatula and frying pan. In addition, Emotional Rewards will award a tour package to Universal Studios in Singapore for three days and two nights. Shoppers who purchase items totaling over 300 baht per receipt get one entry for the contest.
