March 19, 2007, Bangkok- Central Wine Cellar, a division of Central Food Retail Company Limited, will host “A Celebration of Wine” on March 22, 2007 at Dusit Thani Hotel-Bangkok. This showcase will bring winemakers and principles from around the world to demonstrate the vast range of quality wines in the Central Wine Cellar portfolio. This show will be an opportunity for the members of the Hotel, Restaurant and Club industries to sample the wines and meet the winemakers during the afternoon session and, in the evening, members of the public are welcome to attend for more of a social gathering.


In all, there will be twenty or more wine principles from Australia, France, Germany, America, Spain, Thailand, Italy, Argentina, Chile and New Zealand with over 400 different wines to be tasted. This show is designed to introduce Central Wine Cellar’s new wholesale program of wines that have been directly imported and represented exclusively in Thailand. At the same time, many of these wines have been available in our C Wine Cellar at Central Food Hall (Chidlom and Central World) and at selected Tops Markets for over one year already.


Wines from d’Arenberg, Majella, Killakanoon, Paringa, Spy Valley, Duval-Leroy, Charles Melton, Trimbach, E Guigal, Louis Jadot, Santa Julia, Rey de Los Andes, Beringer, Columbia Crest, Balthasar Ress, Max Ferdinand Richter, Wolf Blass, Peter Lehmann, Woolshed, Hardy’s, Freixenet and many more will all be there
